Osprey

(Electric) – Group 2 / 3 Aircraft

The Osprey, by Unmanned Aerial Research is a rugged UAS flight test platform with a successful track record spanning over two decades with the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) and others. The Osprey’s gentle handling qualities, and cavernous payload volume make it the ideal test bed. The Osprey features a large hatch on the top of the aircraft as well as a track system on the floor that is ideal for securing payloads. The Osprey’s all composite airframe, sturdy landing gear and suspension system allow the Osprey to withstand the firmest of landings. Large tires, flaps, stone guards and a tall ground clearance help insure a safe landing on unimproved surfaces.

The Osprey is highly customizable with both gas and electric options available. A DA-100L with twin spark ignition and vibration isolation is available on the gas powered Ospreys. Other options include, electric start, electric generator, extended range fuel tanks, belly & wing pods, PTO shaft, electromagnetic brakes and many others. Just let us know what you need and we can make it happen!
